Job Description
The Officer – Customer Care will be responsible for handling inbound customer calls related to various banking products and services. Responsibilities include addressing customer queries on credit cards, savings and current accounts, deposits, loans, depository services, mutual funds, debit and prepaid cards and other direct banking services.
The role involves managing requests such as PIN generation, net banking password assistance, fixed deposit information, statement requests and similar banking services.
Candidates will process financial transactions including fixed deposit openings, demand draft requests and funds transfers as per defined procedures. Ensuring adherence to customer authentication protocols and maintaining accuracy in request documentation is essential.
The role requires prompt and accurate logging of complaints, coordination with internal teams for resolution, hotlisting debit or credit cards when necessary and ensuring closure within defined timelines.
In addition, candidates may be required to cross-sell eligible products while ensuring no mis-selling occurs. Delivering exceptional customer service, building rapport, escalating unresolved issues appropriately and adhering to service delivery standards form crucial parts of this role.
