1. Develop deep understanding of the Pharmaceutical world (generic) in general and Teva portfolio strategy and build knowledge of the categories.

2. Develop deep understanding of the development process, regulatory procedures, IP, quality and legal requirements for submission and approval.

3. Identifying suitable Source for API, excipients and primary packing materials, required by R&D

4. Manage internal stakeholder (R&D, IP, Legal, QA, QC, RA, Portfolio) relationships by serving as a business partner, helping identify critical business requirements and providing sourcing and procurement services that meet expectations

5. Participate in kick-off meetings, regular R&D review meetings (e.g. bi-weekly/tri-weekly)

6. Closely collaborate with all Direct Procurement Categories to ensure alignment of Strategic Sourcing globally and strategically.

7. In alignment with the Direct Procurement Categories, create an execution plan for securing APIs, Excipients and Packaging for R&D projects that will include risk assessment and risk mitigation plan.

8. Ensure continuous evaluation and risk mitigation for the required direct material in all projects

9. Manage all communication with 3rd party suppliers relating to: supply, pharmaceutical development, analytical development, regulatory, QA and patents. Negotiate pricing, availability and timelines.

10. Lead an SRM program with R&D high profile Suppliers

11. Implement prioritized initiatives to support on time R&D submissions and launches.

12. Leverage extensive market and supplier knowledge and drivers to define initiatives to address QA and supply risks early during product development.

13. Identify the need of supply agreement and negotiate in cooperation with Category and Legal.

14. Lead contractual discussions with supplier for complex products

15. Utilize sourcing tools and databases to ensure knowledge and data management (e.g Ariba, Wave, PLM)
