Job Description:
- Experience in mainframe, non-mainframe tools support / environment.
- Experience analysing batch processing issues on either mainframe or distributed systems; applying appropriate triage and recovery methods.
- Able to communicate clearly with application developers and create the job / application as per the schedule.
- Able to understand Unix / Python scripts.
- Should be able identify the root cause of the problem.
- Co-ordinate with developers to fix the job for future.
- Resolve non-critical abends during daytime.
- Handle On calls for critical abends out of business hours on rotation basis.
- Implementing new projects for client as per their request.
- Participate in the client Release activities and DR activity.
- Should have knowledge on Change management process and code promotion.
- Experience in design, development and build of tools environment
