Job description
Role & responsibilities
- Calibration and Testing:
- Perform calibrations on a variety of instruments and equipment following established procedures and standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of calibration equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Record and document calibration results and ensure data accuracy in calibration reports.
- Equipment Management:
- Maintain an inventory of calibration equipment and tools.
- Schedule and manage calibration intervals for equipment to ensure timely recalibration.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for equipment repairs and external calibrations.
- Technical Support:
- Provide technical support and guidance to other departments regarding calibration and measurement issues.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians and new hires on calibration procedures and best practices.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of calibration techniques and measurement principles.
- Proficiency in using calibration software and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards in the calibration industry.
