Job description:
Responsibilities
1. Develop, upgrade, test, implement, and document software components of client applications
2. Work independently and/or within teams throughout all phases of the development lifecycle
3. Communicate with end-users, business analysts, and systems analysts to determine features, requirements and solution design
4. Develop enhancements to Organization suite of applications using leading software principles
5. Document technical specifications and designs
6. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues as needed
7. Adhere to Organization established design , coding, naming and standards
8. Participate in organization code reviews and apply corrections as required
9. Adhere to Organization change control processes
10. Write/revise documentation including operations and user guidelines
11. Define and document requirements and develop supportable application solutions to automate business processes
12. Lead development efforts consisting of multiple developers or multi-thread development projects
13. Collaborate with end-users, business analysts, and systems analysts to determine features, requirements and solution design
14. Design, document, and enforce architectural and design standards
15. Gather and drive stakeholder requirements and product vision through the planning, analysis, development, and testing phases
16. Possess a thorough understanding of the data, sources of data, and relationships of data
Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues as needed
Mandatory Experience:
- Hands on experience with more than 5 to 15 years in Teradata and its utilities
- Ability to establish Framework and validate.
- Good Hands on experience in Data Warehouse
- Clear understanding of star schema
- Coordinate and request data for quality assurance and provide requirement walkthrough to QA team.
- Good communication skills
Mandatory Technical Skills
- ETL process using various Teradata utilities like TPT, BTEQ, FLOAD, MLOAD, TPUMP and FEXPORT.
- Extensive knowledge & Experience of Teradata Architecture, SQL, Teradata database and utilities
