Primary Responsibilities
- Perform method development, method validation and study sample analysis using LC-MS/MS systems.
- Operate, calibrate and maintain pipettes, pH meters, balances, HPLC systems, dispensers, turbo-evaporators, centrifuges, solid-phase extraction systems and other bioanalytical equipment.
- Prepare method validation protocols, validation reports, Standard Test Procedures, SOPs and bioanalytical reports.
- Maintain documentation according to in-house SOPs and practices, including raw data forms and logbooks.
- Compile calibration data, bioanalytical raw data forms and laboratory logbooks.
- Maintain the workplace and laboratory cleanliness.
- Report assigned work progress to the supervisor/HOD.
- Follow procedures for safe disposal of laboratory waste.
- Record laboratory temperature and humidity.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable SOPs.
- Ensure raw data and other documents accurately reflect the actual sequence of events.
- Ensure results are correctly transcribed, reported and calculated against chromatographic and raw data.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and safety standards.
- Ensure proper labeling of reagents, solutions and chemicals.
- Ensure archival of completed studies and validated documents.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Maintain columns and reference standards in the laboratory.
- Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the HOD.
Candidate Profile
Candidates should have 2–6 years of relevant Clinical Research experience, particularly in bioanalytical laboratory activities. Practical experience with LC-MS/MS, method development, validation, study sample analysis, laboratory documentation and bioanalytical equipment will be important for these positions.
