Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform in-process quality checks and inspections during the packaging operations to ensure compliance with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and internal quality standards.
- Monitor the packaging processes, equipment, and materials to identify any deviations or non-compliance issues and promptly escalate them to the appropriate personnel.
- Review and approve batch records, packaging instructions, and associated documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct line clearance activities to ensure proper cleaning and setup of packaging lines before the start of each batch.
- Verify the proper labeling, printing, and coding of packaging materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and product specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and regulatory affairs, to resolve any quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct investigations and root cause analysis for packaging deviations, non-conformances, and customer complaints related to packaging.
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing the necessary support and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training programs related to packaging quality and compliance.
- Stay updated with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices related to packaging quality assurance.
