Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage Capex purchases for pharma machinery, consumables, spares management, MRO items, and indirect materials.
• Develop new vendors and negotiate prices with existing ones to optimize costs.
• Oversee OPEX expenses by analyzing purchase orders and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate project procurement activities to meet capex requirements on time.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods from vendors while maintaining quality standards.

 

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 3-8 years of experience in capital purchase or capex purchase roles in the pharmaceutical industry.
• B.Tech/B.E. degree in Any Specialization; MBA (Purchase & Supply Chain) preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of buying principles, vendor development strategies, price negotiation techniques, and indirect purchase processes.
