Role Overview:
As a Senior Research Investigator, you will lead a team of 7-12 scientists, oversee synthetic chemistry projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality research solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Synthetic Chemistry Research:
- Design, develop, and optimize synthetic routes for complex molecules
- Solve synthetic challenges using modern methodologies (asymmetric synthesis, catalysis, heterocyclic chemistry, etc.)
- Ensure smooth execution of high-profile projects with minimal supervision
✔ Leadership & Team Management:
- Guide and mentor a team of scientists
- Plan and execute research projects efficiently
- Maintain high safety and compliance standards
✔ Quality & Compliance:
- Ensure ZERO safety incidents in the lab
- Follow ALCOA+ principles for data integrity & regulatory compliance
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure adherence to quality standards
✔ Client & Project Management:
- Engage with clients for project updates and presentations
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones
- Monitor KPIs, lab infrastructure, and resource allocation
✔ Technical & Scientific Excellence:
- Stay updated with latest advancements in synthetic chemistry
- Troubleshoot complex chemical reactions
- Maintain accurate scientific documentation and reports
Who Can Apply?
✔ Ph.D. in Chemistry / Organic Chemistry (Post-Doctoral experience preferred)
✔ 5 – 10 years of experience in synthetic chemistry research (CRO/Pharmaceutical industry)
✔ Strong problem-solving skills in chemical synthesis
✔ Hands-on experience in Heterocyclic Chemistry, Catalysis, and Reaction Mechanisms
✔ Excellent presentation & communication skills
✔ Flexible to work in shifts as per organizational needs
