Walk-in for Medicinal Chemists
- Position: Senior Research Associate/ Research Associate
- Experience: 2-6 years in synthesis R&D
- No. of positions: 10
Required Qualifications:
- M.Sc/ Ph.D in Organic Chemistry from a reputed college, with good academic background.
- Some laboratory experience in synthesis of various organic compounds.
- Experience or a sound understanding of basic analytical and separation principles (TLC, HPLC, NMR, LC/ MS and others).
- Good oral and written communication skills.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Set up reactions for the synthesis of new chemical entities, including reactions, work ups and purifications, under the supervision of experienced chemists.
- Required to look up databases to come up with reaction schemes for synthesis of novel compounds.
- Characterization of compounds with analytical data (NMR, LCMS, HPLC etc.,)
- Maintain Lab Notebook.
- Handle the lab equipment as per SOP’s
- Understanding of systems and process pertaining to health, safety and work environment
