Job Responsibilities
Engineering
- Execute day-to-day engineering operations to ensure uninterrupted production and utility operations.
- Maintain biopharmaceutical and utility equipment including fermenters, process vessels, access and door interlocking systems, centrifuges, RO-EDI systems, incubators, freezers, and autoclaves.
- Perform troubleshooting, calibration, and optimization of PLC, HMI, and SCADA-based automation systems.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and safety standards.
- Maintain documentation and support audit readiness.
Production
- Perform production operations according to batch and shift schedules.
- Operate fermenters, centrifuges, reactors, process vessels, pH meters, filter integrity testing equipment, and other production machinery.
- Prepare disinfectants, media, and buffers.
- Assist in sterilization, cleaning, and equipment assembly/disassembly.
- Handle material movement, production documentation, and batch records.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and workplace safety requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
- Relevant ITI or Diploma qualification for Technician positions.
- B.Tech (Biotechnology) for Apprenticeship positions.
- Experience in the Biologics industry will be an added advantage.
