Role & responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementation of Good Laboratory Practices at Microbiology Department
- Responsible for planning and control of microbiological activities
- Preparation, Review and Approval of documents pertaining to microbiological Practices, Procedures and Validation Protocols & reports.
- Responsible for training and qualification of analysts to perform tests like MLT, BET, Water analysis and Environmental Monitoring etc.
- Review and monitor the qualification and re-qualification of instruments like steam sterilizer, incubators, HVAC, LAF, Bio-safety Cabinet etc Environmental Monitoring.
- Responsible for timely release of Environmental monitoring, MLT, BET, Water Analysis test and reports.
- Procurement of lab consumables, equipments, and accessories.
- To co-ordinate with QA department for implementation of QMS i.e. change control, Deviations, OOS and OOT results.
- Laboratory Information Management (LIMs) sample allotment, data verification and approval.
- Responsible for facing internal and external (customer and regulatory) audits.

Job Description:
- Well versed with all the guidelines specifically the US, EU, CA, Brazil and India.
- Should be well versed with defining the KSMs and finalise the specifications including the limits for GTIs, Nitrosamines etc for intermediates and the API.
- To coordinate with the cross functional teams and respond the deficiencies received various regulatory agencies in a timely manner.
- Should be capable of completing DMF submission to the USFDA, EU, BR (ANVISA) and Canadian agencies.
- To assess and file amendments of the existing products to the agencies.
- Good communication skills both spoken and written.
- eCTD knowledge and filing ability.
