RECRUITMENT OF JUNIOR ASSISTANTS
1. NOTIFICATION:
Online Applications are invited from eligible candidates who must be an Indian Citizen for selection and appointment as Junior Assistant.
The vacancies are as under:
Recruitment for the post of Junior Assistant is based on State-wise vacancy and merit. The total number of vacancies may increase or decrease depending upon the actual vacancies at the time of final selection and availability of successful candidates after the interview.

1. TIME AND ACTIVITY SCHEDULE:
- Start of online registration and payment of fees – 25.07.2024
- End of online registration and payment of fees – 14.08.2024
- Downloading of Call letters for Online Examination 7 to 14 days
before exam - Online Examination (Junior Assistant) (tentative) – September 2024
Candidates are advised to regularly check the authorized website of LIC Housing

2. REMUNERATION for Junior Assistant (CTC):
- Total emoluments per month will be in the rage of 32,000 to 35,200 (depending upon the place of posting – City Category based). This includes Basic pay, HRA, Other benefits & PF – Company contribution.
- In addition to the above-mentioned emoluments, employee will be eligible for Mediclaim, Gratuity, Group Insurance Scheme, Housing Loan, Performance Linked Incentive as per applicable rule.
- Every year based on quarterly / annual performance; employee will be eligible for increment up to 10% on the “Total Annual” salary.
- Lease facility and staff quarter facility is not applicable for Junior Assistant cadre.
Probation Period:
6 months from the date of joining which may be extended as per rules.
3. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
The eligibility criteria are as mentioned below:
- Nationality: Indian
- Age (as on 01.07.2024): 21-28 years
- Educational Qualification (as on 01.07.2024): Graduate (minimum aggregate 60% marks) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Govt. of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the central Government. Course completed through correspondence / distance / part-time are not eligible.
- Computer Literacy: Operating and Working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have Certificate / Diploma / Degree in computer operations / language / Should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the Subjects in the High School/College/Institute
- Work Experience: Preferred
- Computer Skills: Yes
