Job description
1. Gather and analyse technical information (ECN, BOM, Drawings, CAD, etc.)
2. Prepare and get approved markups/manuscript for content creation/revision into manuals
3. Create/revise technical illustrations using IsoDraw, Creo Illustrate, Adobe Illustrator, adobe Photoshop, CorelDraw, etc.
4. Create/revise and publish technical content into Windchill using Arbortext Editor OR any Content Management System(CMS).
5. Self Review and Peer Review for Proof Copy and Final Copy
6. Manage topics, manuals, illustrations and reusable content into Windchill, Teamcenter OR any CMS.
7. Coordinate with Peer Tech Writer, Illustrator, Project Lead and Onsite Lead.
8. Record and release quality, delivery and other project metrics/KPIs.
Skill Required:
1. Structured/Topic Based Authoring using Arbortext into Windchill
2. Tech Illustrations using IsoDraw, Creo Illustrate, Adobe Illustrator, adobe Photoshop, CorelDraw, etc.
3. Review & Impact Analysis of Engineering Change Notice, Bill of Material, Engineering Drawing, CAD, etc.
4. Truck & Off-highway product knowledge e.g. operation, service, diagnostic, etc.
