Job description
Engineers with the following skills and experiences related to Oil & gas, Power sector and Industries.
Qualification & Experience: BE Mechanical/Production
Need one Project procurement manager having an experience of handling Saudi Aramco projects
Create and implement procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and incorporate the growing complexities and challenges within the industry.
Identify and onboard new suppliers.
Act as a point of contact between the company and suppliers.
Identify potential suppliers based on project requirements.
Run saving initiatives.
Creating procurement plan.
Plan and implement risk mitigation actions.
Work closely with the legal and or contract department to ensure flow downs from prime contract are properly incorportated into the Project TS & Cs.
Develop procurement strategy, negotiate terms and conditions, deadlines, costs with suppliers.
Process purchase orders to acquire goods.
Anticipate and resolve any problems, bottlenecks or scheduling conflicts.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with critical suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance KPIs.
Attend meetings with the engineering team, suppliers and other stakeholders.
Participate in, and provide input to, project proposals, including formal presentations.
Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards.
Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job.
May need to travel to attend to business related matters.
Adhere to and support L&T’s Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies.

- Past EPC experience.
- Hands on experience on Energy and Chemicals international projects.
- Experience concurrently managing/working with multi-cultural teams in multiple locations around the world.
