Job description
1. Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of all unit operations of Zero Liquid Discharge facility (ETP, STP, RO, Decanter, Mono Belt, Incinerator, MVRE, MEE & ATFD)
2. Ensure compliance to all Statutory / Regulatory requirements & ensure Zero Liquid Discharge conditions are maintained at site always.
3. Hazardous Waste Management as per Authorization obtained.
4. Ensure Ambient and Workplace Monitoring compliance.
5. To support implementation of EHS Corporate Safety Guidelines at site & participate in allocated Safety committees for their support.
6. Implementation of EHS Management System at site as per ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 standard requirements.
7. Ensure Preparation of monthly reports of all unit operation for environment section.
8. Ensure Preparation and submission of MIS (Environment) before 8th of every month.
9. Ensure Preparation and timely review of standard operation procedures of EHS.
10. Identification of new projects for Environment and planning for implementation and coordination for timely completion of all ongoing projects.
11. To Plan / Organize EHS Audits, Follow-up audits and monitoring of effective closure of EHS Audit gaps.
12. Seek guidance and comply to the instructions received from EHS Corporate from time to time.
13. Develop the competence of subordinates to take up new responsibilities.
14. Initiation of Environmental promotional activities & awareness campaign at site to enhance overall awareness among the manpower.
15. Ensure upkeep and maintenance of Storm Water Drains at site and prevention of Storm water drain contamination at site by enhancing awareness among Production, Utility teams.
16. Preparation and timely review of Environment Standard Operating Procedures.
17. Ensure compliance of safety in each area of environment and implementation of safety guidelines in all unit operations of Environment.
Desired Candidate Profile – Pharma/ Chemical industry experience preferred.
