- Microbiologist for Environmental Monitoring
- Qualifications:- M.Sc/B.Sc -Microbiology
- 1-5 years of experience in Biologics / Pharma or Biotech firms.
Key Skills:
- Knowledge of GMP, aseptic techniques, and regulatory guidelines (USFDA, EMA, WHO)
- Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to work in controlled environments
- Job description suitable for Male candidates only
- Working in shifts is preferable
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct environmental monitoring through:
- Air sampling, surface monitoring, settle plate monitoring, and personnel monitoring in aseptic areas
- Drain point monitoring
- Compressed air and nitrogen gas sampling in aseptic and controlled areas
- Perform surface swab sample collection and testing
- Carry out EM plate reading and liquid media observations for microbiological analysis
- Personnel gowning qualification for aseptic area entry
- Media preparation, and perform growth promotion tests (GPT)
- Maintain media stock and ensure proper documentation
- Operate steam sterilizers and decontamination autoclaves
- Participate in aseptic media fills and perform media fill vial observations
- Prepare environmental monitoring (EM) trends and summary reports
