Key Job Responsibilities & Skills
Candidates should have:
- Strong knowledge of organic synthesis and reaction mechanisms
- Hands-on experience in impurity synthesis and characterization
- Experience in synthesis of:
- Process-related impurities
- Degradation impurities
- Potential genotoxic impurities, where applicable
- Knowledge of:
- Reaction optimization
- Work-up procedures
- Purification
- Isolation techniques
- Familiarity with analytical techniques including:
- HPLC
- LC-MS
- GC
- NMR
- Ability to interpret chromatograms and spectral data
- Ability to correlate analytical results with chemical structures
- Experience with:
- Column chromatography
- Crystallization
- Preparative HPLC
- Other purification techniques
Eligibility
Educational Qualification:
M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry / Chemistry
Experience:
1–5 years of relevant experience in Chemical Research & Development, Process R&D, CRO or related pharmaceutical research environments.
