Job description:

We are searching for a Buyer and Sr. Buyer – Indirect Procurement (Helpdesk) with Excellent Communication skills and who wants to make a real impact on the Supply Chain Management Industry.

As a Buyer / Sr Buyer – Indirect Procurement (Helpdesk)

You will:

Deliver as per customer needs

Review and monitor purchase requisitions

Manage supplier communication

Deal with invoice discrepancies

Ensure compliance with strategic procurement

Running compliance checks on all PR(Purchase requisition) incoming via ERP.

Create POs post successful compliance checks.

Ensure on time delivery of material to support production

Should be able to contribute towards process improvements and implement cost saving procurement strategies

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements

• Any bachelor degree with min 3 years of exp in indirect procurement buying role
• Flexible to work in US / Night Shifts

Desired Qualifications

Good organizational – ability to prioritize and do problem solving, fair amount of years of experience in a purchasing

Strong negotiation skills

Good technical knowledge of Procurement/sourcing

Conduct competitive bids

Identify cost reduction opportunities

Good understanding of Procure to Pay cycle, Order management, RFQ Process & Supplier management.

Knowledge of ERP systems preferable SAP Ariba

Building good relationship with the global team/partners/stakeholders

Should have experience in handling indirect procurement

Coordination with supplier to ensure timely delivery of material

Excellent written and oral communication skills
