Gland Chemicals (GCL) was established in 1974 by Sri P. V. N. Raju for manufacturing Heparin API. GCL Specializes in injectable API Manufacture and formulations, GCL Manufactures anticoagulants, muscle relaxants, and other range of APIs and formulations. In 2021, GCL acquired Pfizer facilities at Aurangabad and Chennai. Aurangabad facility provides GCL capabilities additional capabilities to manufacture an antibiotic range of APIs as well as additional capacities of other APIs. Chennai facility provides GCL capabilities to produce general sterile injectables as well as an antibiotic range of Injectables.
