Job description:
Experience: 1 to 3 years in Medical Coding with ED Coder, ED Professional. Minimum one year auditing experience.
Qualification: B.Sc Graduation (Life science is preferred)
Certification: CPC – A&C /CCS/CIC
Job Description –
- Comply with all legal requirements regarding coding procedures and practices
- Certification in CPC A & C will be added advantage.
- Conduct audits and coding reviews to ensure all documentation is accurate and precise
- Assign and sequence all codes for services rendered- ICD-10, CPTs, HCPCS
- Hands-on experience in any of the Encoder tools specific to Hospital coding
- Writing physician queries in compliance with Coding regulations
- Should be able to disseminate client/coding updates to the team in an individualistic and understandable manner
- Should be able to identify pain areas and training needs independently
- Should have ownership mindset with respect to the auditing and ensuring quality is never compensated.
