Job description:
Consultant Nutritionist
Qualification and Experience:
- M.Sc. in Food/Nutrition/Dietetics + B.Sc. (Home Science)/B.Sc. (Nutrition) with at least 1+ year experience in the related field and 3 months internship from a multispecialty hospital.
Skills and Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of the subject.
- Deep understanding of Medical Nutrition Therapy.
- Excellent nutrition counselling and patient handling skills.
- Tech-savvy and well versed with using MS office.
Language:
- Good command over spoken and written English. Should be able to converse in Hindi. Fluency in at least one more Indian regional language is required. In this case Marathi.
Job Location: Work from home (remote)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepare a healthy meal plan, suggest exercise for patients (therapy areas involved: Diabetes, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Oncology, Paediatrics) based on the Doctors advice, patients medical history, medicine prescription, lifestyle, and food preferences that can help the patient attain overall wellbeing by promoting healthy lifestyle habits.
- Suggest diet modifications as per the individual patients requirements and coach them to follow it with discipline.
- Monitoring the dietary intake and progress of the patients for the smooth functioning of their program.
- Recording the progression of the patient in the reporting system (CRM) through program stages, and suggesting lifestyle changes as and when required.
- Conduct or attend seminars/webinars/awareness sessions, workshops, etc. related to nutrition and related field to keep up with the latest trends and researches in the field.
- Prepare tips, presentations, articles, and other content as and when required.
- Achieving the performance metric as per the key performance indicator (KPI).
- Keeping in touch with the external stakeholders (Doctors & Medical Representative) enrolled in the service.
Note: This job may also requires the candidate to do field work and meet the Doctors minimum 3 times in a month (or as and when required).
