Experience : 7 to 10 Years
Qualification: Masters degree in Science , chemistry preferable. . Post graduation in business, supply chain management, or related field- preferred
Job description:
1 Manage the entire import procurement (Raw materials and intermediates for API) process for the organization.
2 Develop and implement strategies for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
3 Monitor market trends, economic conditions, and industry news to inform and adjust procurement decisions.
4 Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure best quality, delivery, and value.
5 Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
6 Ensure timely delivery of goods and services to meet customer needs.
7 Utilize available resources to research and identify potential suppliers.
8 Analyse purchasing trends and develop long-term procurement strategies.
9 Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
10 Monitor performance of suppliers and evaluate the quality of purchased products and services.
Requirement:
1. Masters degree in Science , chemistry preferable.
2. Post graduation in business, supply chain management, or related field- preferred
3. Minimum of 7 -10 years of relevant experience in import chemicals intermediate procurement in API pharmaceutical industry- preferably USFDA approved facility
4. Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs clearance
5. Strong negotiation and communication skills
6. Analytical capability
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/MRP systems.
