Job Description:
- Support microbial strain development activities, including cloning and gene expression in multiple expression hosts, engineering strains, strain ranking, protein production, small-scale protein purification, and biochemical characterization.
- Support storage and maintenance of microbial stock cultures
- Perform basic molecular biology processes, including PCR, western blot, ELISA, gel electrophoresis, DNA/RNA purification, gene assembly, and cloning.
- Perform protein expression in bacterial and yeast hosts.
- Perform basic biochemistry analysis and assays, including protein gel electrophoresis, western blots, and protein quantitation.
