Candidate Profile
Candidates should have:
- M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry
- 2–14 years of experience in synthetic medicinal chemistry.
- Strong knowledge of small-molecule discovery and synthetic chemistry.
- Experience in planning and executing multi-step synthesis.
- Ability to troubleshoot synthetic reactions.
- Good understanding of analytical data interpretation.
Role Highlights
Planning & Synthesis
- Execute multi-step synthesis of target compounds.
- Troubleshoot chemical reactions and optimize synthetic routes.
- Support medicinal chemistry projects and research activities.
Data Interpretation
- Interpret NMR, LCMS and HPLC data.
- Analyze data for targets and intermediates.
- Ensure accurate characterization of synthesized compounds.
Documentation
- Record experiments accurately.
- Maintain research documentation in accordance with project requirements and IPM norms.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow SHE guidelines.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain laboratory safety and compliance standards.
