Aragen Life Sciences is conducting a Walk-In Drive for Chemistry Solutions for experienced professionals in its Synthesis R&D Department. The opportunity is open for Research Associate and Senior Research Associate positions for candidates with an M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry and 2–6 years of experience. The role offers an opportunity to work on chemical synthesis, purification, analytical characterization and client-focused research projects in Bengaluru.

Walk-In Interview Details

Key Responsibilities

• Execute chemical reactions from milligram to gram scale to synthesize required molecules/compounds according to client specifications.
• Apply efficient synthetic routes and techniques for chemical synthesis.
• Ensure laboratory safety through adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Maintain proper records, Data Integrity and Intellectual Property (IP) specifications.
• Perform purification of compounds and interpret analytical data.
• Work with analytical techniques such as NMR and LCMS.
• Experience with automated synthesizers and purification systems is desirable.
• Prepare and maintain Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN).

Eligibility

• M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry
• 2–6 years of relevant experience
• Experience in chemical synthesis and purification
• Knowledge of analytical techniques such as NMR and LCMS
• Good laboratory practices and documentation skills
• Experience with automated synthesizers is an added advantage
