We are urgently hiring for SSSM at Amneal Pharmaceuticals, Ahmedabad .
Designation : Asst. Manager to Deputy Manager
Location : Ahmedabad ,Corporate Office
Responsibilities
Develop commodity strategies and manage and support contracts with suppliers For managing a sub-category portfolio: Plastics bottles caps & soft tubes + tubes, Act as the subject matter expert in regard to the inventory being ordered Identify cost-saving opportunities with suppliers Manage portfolio strategy and ensure projects are executed on time and aligned with internal stakeholders Negotiate with vendors contract terms and pricing in order to get the best deal. Actively follow up with all deliveries and ensure timely delivery of material. Develop and build new suppliers and maintain a good supplier base. Update and maintain records of all orders, payments, and received stocks. Prepare MIS reports on a regular basis and review them with Category team leads and cross-functional teams. Ensure compliance with all required quality standards. Able to handle vendor visits and audits.
Requirements
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor’s Degree.
5+ yrs experience in Procurement/strategic sourcing in the packaging (resin, paper, plastic, metals) and excipients in the pharmaceutical industry.
Proven success in developing, mentoring, and managing a team.
Understanding of budget management, futures and options, and sourcing risk management
