Role and Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial reviews of customer account activities flagged by the bank’s monitoring systems.
- Identify unusual account activities and document detailed analyses.
- Write comprehensive reports with clear dispositions for closed or escalated alerts.
- Ensure compliance with BSA, OFAC laws, and global standards.
- Collaborate with the Financial Intelligence Unit to identify and report suspicious activities.
- Communicate with Relationship Managers to gather additional customer information.
- Provide training to new associates and act as a subject matter expert.
- Assess changes in processes, analyze their impacts, and share insights with management and clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting, or any relevant discipline.
- Experience: 2-6 years in transaction monitoring or related fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- CAMS, CFE, or other compliance-related certifications are preferred.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
